TLTP Favorites 1-5

Well here they are, my top five for 2007.  The links for the rest are at the bottom.

5.  Peter, Bjorn & John - Writer's Block.  A delight from start to finish.  Full of crafty pop songs that are also smooth and delightful.

4.  Okkervil River - The Stage Names.  Great songwriting coupled with great melodies and a barrage of instruments.  Well crafted with a sober side too.

3.  Twilight Sad - Fourteen Autumns & Fifteen Winters.  Exhilarating drama with pure emotion that absorbs the listener.

2.  LCD Soundsystem - Sound of Silver.  A near-perfect CD, blending indie-rock and dance like no other.

1.  Datarock - Datarock Datarock.  It's a worship of spastic rock, with lots of dance, twisted humor and rave.
