Of course it's Neko Case weekend around Chicago if you are in to that sort of thing. A little more my style is The Ponys at Logan Square on Saturday.

I would so totally see the Thermals again, they were so supremely awesome. Great that they'll still be at Subterranean!

The story is that it was my birthday, and I have a good friend who has the same birthday as me. So I didn't think that bringing her and her husband to the show would be such a great idea. The sushi was great that night, but next time I'll be thinking a little harder about my decision!

I like Johnston, but part of that may be the connection that I find in the artwork that he does. Especially the cover of that one disc with the flame and the eye in that. Man...it looks like a dream.
