Meet The Goldstars

New from Pravda Records,  Purple Girlfriend is the second release from The Goldstars.  This CD is packed with the bare essentials of garage-style rock & roll, leaving the filler at the door.  Quick, energetic and tight it takes off from the start and rarely slows.  You should remember organist Skipper and drummer Goodtime from the New Duncan Imperials.  They drive their swagger with long time local favorite Dag Juhlin of the Slugs.  Think R & B that's both raucous and brash, still holding on to a carefree freshness that's missing in much of today's over-mixed music.  The Goldstars play the Hideout on June 10th.
